Tingle-y Thursday...Get your good stuff for 1/23!

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but it's crisp, cold, and my warmed up car was so delightful!

Okay, so a poet, I am not.

Yesterday we had 20 posts in the whiney thread. Let's try to beat that number today...and see if we can't interject some positives with our tingling toes and frozen fingers!

I am off to bump the daily nag (if Cindy hasn't beat me to it ) I took my supplements and am hell bent on getting in my water requirement for the day.

Resistance bands tonight after I get home from work!

Have a great Thursday, and if you have not done so this month, DO YOUR SELF EXAM! (No better way to get in a tingle, huh? )

Lynn

It's lovely now - it's supposed to be 75 degrees by noon. Then by midnight it will be in the low 30s! That's just not normal! Our tropical plants are in big trouble. Don't think I'll be jogging tonight - but I'll be doing my walking video.

Resistance bands this morning but I didn't walk my husband to work. It's not snowing so that bodes well: over lunch we're digging out, and hopefully driving, then donating the bitchen Camaro. I will be so happy to finally be rid of that car.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I'm so happy!!! My best friend is moving back here from Buffalo. She doesn't know she's moving back yet, and she's not going to be happy. But I'm happy about it. She'll get over it, lol.

I know... weird post. No more long distance bills, no more having to drive an hour to spend a weekend with them, no more having to talk by instant messenger to save money. And... I get to spend more time with my 5-mo-old "niece."

I have not had a chance to exercise yet today. I have all I can do to keep my house from looking like a hurricane blew threw, and to keep them all from beating each other to a pulp. Why is it kids feel the need fight over toys and Playstation? But I want to do something today. Waiting for hubby to get home so I can hop on the elliptical and take a much needed shower.

*Edit*

Ok, I did 12 minutes on the elliptical, 3 different leg stretches for a couple minutes, and a set each of push ups and tricep dips. I suck for only doing 12 minutes, but I did a light jog, and I'm just not in shape yet. So... I'm working on it. My goal is to exercise for 60 minutes every day. I'm not even sure how fast I was going because the sensor thingies aren't working right on my elliptical.

Well, it's just starting to cool down, so I figured I'd go jogging before the big chill arrives. Problem is - the media has been doing so much with the freeze warning - I had freeze on the brain. I totally overdressed, and I thought I was going to pass out from the heat! Only managed 2 miles - but I can live with that!

Just wanted to help Lynn reach her goal.

I scheduled time to walk and freeze my butt off on Saturday. Hey, it's a beginning.

warning: not health related

Graduation was really nice, the speeches weren't too long, Hubby and MIL were there, and we had fun!

And I didn't have to cook dinner tonight! (but I had fetuccini alfredo, and NOT the low-fat kind - alas)

Um, let's see, something health related... I got a good, fast walk in this morning along with some weight lifting. (I left the house a few minutes too late for a leisurely walk to the train, and I was carrying my graduation gown. Does that count? LOL)

Oh yeah, and since the school elevators are so slow, the many times I had to go to the 3rd or 4th floor from the 1st floor, I took the stairs

MJ, I think that counts!

Just got back from dance class. Only four of us tonight, and we were still sort of worn out from Tuesday, so things weren't as intense tonight.

I did about 20 minutes of leg lifts (not much weight on the machine) while my son was at wrestling practice last night.

MJ - stairs definitely count.

Margaret, thanks for chiming in.
