I've never cross-country skiied (although I've always wanted to try!) or snowshoed (looks too complicated for me

And yes, the hills ARE large enough to downhill (although they are laughable to anyone who's skiied in the mountains

Ding! Naomi wins the prize. I took my Bear downhill skiing - I haven't been since I blew my knee out on our honeymoon 16 years ago, and Jeremy has never been. We had a blast!
It turned out to be more of a workout than I was anticipating though....Jer wanted to stay on the bunny hill (which was fine since he was just getting his skiing legs!) and there isn't a lift or a tow rope on it. He stayed near the bottom, but that got pretty boring for me - so I trudged all the way up to the top every time I wanted to go down. When you are wearing ski boots, it's a lot of work!
I feel pretty good today - a little sore on the backs of my thighs, but it was worth it!
No idea what I'll do today, except laundry.
