| | Work give you no time to work out? WRONG! H&F Good Stuff and Log for 2/9 | | Another article from Weight Watchers on some ideas to get a "no sweat" workout during your work day. With the start of the work week, I wanted to pass it along. Maybe you can use some of these ideas during this hectic week!
Since Delia is out this week, I thought I'd just combine the two daily H&F threads, so not only talk about your good stuff here, but feel free to join in the logging too! One thing that is good about logging, is that if you have a record (or think of it as a journal) to what you eat, you can also mention if something filled you up or satisfied you. You can also look for trends that might be waylaying your best attempts.
I'll start with my breakfast:
3 egg-white omlette with one yolk -3
1T cheddar -.5
1t bacon bits 0
Tomatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms. 0
Very filling, hot and yummy. |

H&F Good Stuff and Log for 2/9 | | I've similar article and have even brought a few things to work for working out but I just can't bring myself to do it. I prefer to get up earlier, dress in my workout clothes get my shower and be done with it for the day. But I do think that these are great tools for someone who is looking for ways to work into the daily routine.

But then I had to do an all-out sprint to the train AND the elevators weren't working in my building when I got here... so I'm getting my cardio in at work after all
so far coffee, skim milk, sugar. Didn't shop yesterday because of my headache so I had no yogurt in the house and I REFUSE to pay $1.09 for a single-serving container of yogurt at the deli here in Manhattan.

My usual four flights of stairs to get to my office, then up six flights to my class this morning in another building on the other side of the plain (at least the walk has finally been shoveled).
cereal, grapes and I already at my rice dish for lunch

| | Re: Work give you no time to work out? WRONG! H&F Good Stuff and Log for 2/9 | | I liked this quote: "But if done efficiently, a mid-day workout only needs to take about 40 minutes." What about the people whose lunch break is 25 minutes if they're lucky? Not mentioning any names, of course. (I'm just bitter 'cause I worked 4AM-5:30AM, then 7AM to 6:30PM, NO break, and now get to start again!)
No good stuff so far today, but we'll see if I can squeeze in some Dance Revolution before bed.

1/4 c spaghetti noodles -2
1/4 c corn -1
Got in 40 minutes of aerobics - the 20 minute Leslie Sansone 1 mile walk (I love this video and can't wait to try the 2 mile and 3 mile versions) and 20 minutes of the Gay Gasper Fat Burning for Dummies. That one is starting to grown on me. I don't see her as quite the dominatrix any more and I may actually purchase it. | | |
