Virtual Friday - Long Weekends and the Value of Getting Away from it all (H&F 3/25)

Actually, yesterday was almost a virtual Friday, because today, between doctor appointments, I will get in less than a 1/2 day of work. I'd take the whole darn thing off, but I have meetings scheduled for most of the time I'll be there.

Do you think, with my work hours today of 11-2 that I should be allowed a lunch break?

Anyway, off to the topic de jour....I've had a LOT of stress in my life lately, and I'm taking off this weekend for a nice "run away from it all" 4 day. Hotels, hot tubs, good food, good company....it will be nice to just decompress and try to forget all the stressful situations for a few days.

Running away from home is good to do once in a while...even if it's just for a few hours. Get some time to yourself, for yourself (or spend it with someone you like ) to get away from it all.

Have a great Thursday, and do something good for yourself today!!!

Lynn

Yeah - Lucky Lynn - she gets a long weekend (although today seems like a stressful one for her). I'm finding myself very edgy today. Don't know why. Went out with a friend last night - laughed a lot. Had a fun time. Got a good nights sleep. Have ceramics tonight .
Still have a lingering headache and my leg is still hurting. Disgusted with the weight I've gained and my lack of dedication to taking it off ( I know exactly what to do - and I know I can do it - I'm just not doing it).
So - I'm going to plan for some light-hearted fun today. I have a lot to do at work, but not so much that I have the need to be stressed out. Let's try to spread jog and cheer!

I'm passed the stressed out phase of getting reading for my guests this weekend: everything is as in place as it's going to get, I just have to go the airport to set everything in motion.

I got in 35 minutes on the treadmill this morning. I'm reading a book called Maternal Fitness that seems to have some good exercises that I might try out sometime this weekend (most of my guests will be on pacific and mountain time so I'll be up way earlier than anyone else).
