| | Don't be a Fool - be good to yourself | | Happy April. We can be foolish and ignore our health, or we can do something positive for ourselves, like exercise, eat right, give ourselves some mental down time and go for our regular check ups. If you write it all down, its easier to track what we're doing right!
I started my day with......Coffee! |

April Fools!

Oatmeal for breakfast. Tried to get Jer this a.m. with an April Fools joke, but he was too sly for me (he's allegedly already got a whole list of AF tricks he's been plotting all week. )

Last year on April Fool's day I baked the best chocolate chip cookies made with too much salt. My kids thought I was great.

Lots of stairs today running back and forth between buildings for meetings. I should have worn my running shoes instead of pumps!!!

| | Re: Don't be a Fool - be good to yourself | | Well, we tried to actually go OUT for lunch. We NEVER do that. Wanted to go to this Greek place for a grilled veggie salad. They moved, and we couldn't find it so we ended up at this cheesy Italian buffet. Had a boring salad and a slice of pizza. 8 pts. |

| | Re: Don't be a Fool - be good to yourself | | Turkey cobb wrap. Very yummy - with the bleu cheese crumbles and avocadoes, I'm sure it was a million points, but I didn't add mayo. The nice lunch lady put extra avocado on top of my wrap (I said I liked avocado) but then it just got my fingers all green and slimey.
More meetings this afternoon. At least I get to have a nice massage from Mark the PT man at the end of the day. I don't have to yell at him today because my pain level has actually dropped over the past week!

| | Re: Don't be a Fool - be good to yourself | | On my meal plan, 1/8 of an avocado = 1 tbsp mayo
1 apple
1 meal shake
1 meal bar
I have not yet considered what my Sensible Dinner will be, but my Sensible Snack when I get home will be a Yogurt.

| | Re: Don't be a Fool - be good to yourself | | Don't tell me the grapes were your sensible dinner......
Walked the dog for an hour. Had PT for 30 minutes. I'm hoping that the PT continues to be a good thing (cross fingers, so far we are on track and I want to QUIT going there. Massage is wonderful, but it hurts afterward and besides, it's an hour out of my too busy schedule )
Honey bought me an icecream as a surprise. Sometimes that guy shocks the heck out of me.
No sensible dinner yet...I am having George'd chicken, rice and some veggie.

That was snack. Sensible Dinner was chicken breast cutlets with sauteed chicory.
Before bed snack was a slice of flax-and-other-high-fiber-stuff bread, celery sticks and peanut butter.
