| | What's up with YOUR weekend? 8/7 - 8/8 | | Well, so far today, I slept late (7:30), ran 3 miles, and have done a bunch of yard work. Perfect day for it!
How's your weekend going?

| | Re: What's up with YOUR weekend? 8/7 - 8/8 | | The Plan: Take Hubby's parents to the North Fork (a 2-hour drive out) to look at the scenery and stop in some quaint little towns.
The Actuality: Drive a block from home, see the dashboard battery light is lit, take a quick detour to our service station. 2 hours and $333.72 later, I have a new alternator. On the plus side, Hubby and I had a nice lunch in the local diner and I got the car inspection and oil change out of the way while they were doing the other stuff.
Breakfast: hi-fi cereal and strawberries, coffee w/milk and sugar
Lunch: reuben with potato salad, also stole hubby's toast with jam (dessert, don'tchaknow)

| | Re: What's up with YOUR weekend? 8/7 - 8/8 | | Went to the rodeo again last night. Did NOT stay at the fairgrounds until 1:30 a.m. ( were we thinking ) Ate bad food. Was better today. except for the sourcreamraisinpie at the ice cream social that was beckoning my name.....
Took a very humid and hot walk with the dog, son and a bag of sweet corn. Sweet corn probably weighs 10 pounds, so I got my weight work in too.
