Support Our Breasts... Part Deux?

I signed up for the Avon walk for Breast Cancer in New York in 2005. It will be October 1 & 2, and will be a marthon (26.2) or a marathon and a half (your choice) in distance. Minimum fundraising requirements are $1800 per person.

This year they have introduced something new -- Teams. I guess they're going to be more supportive of people as teams rather than just individuals.

Let me think about it. I have more access to people for fundraising now. Lots of municipal officials and lawyers. But, really need to think before I commit.

I would have to say "don't count me out". I enjoyed the walk the last time (although I did NOT enjoy the training ).

I'll consider joining up for 2005, but I have the feeling life will be too crazy. I would be happy to help cheer people on, though.

I brought this to another forum, and to my surprise, 3 people have signed up. One of them is coming all the way from Ireland! Woot! Sara is reaching people all the way in Ireland hehee.

No way I can undertake a project of this magnitude again, but count me among the cheerleaders. I'll be glad to shake my pom poms along the route.
