| | The sun is shining, the birds are singing, tomorrow's the first day of spring (and they're predicting rain/snow showers ). Ah well. No more "SAD" excuses! We're not in hibernation mode any more! (well, at least not from seasonal reasons.)
Didn't exercise - yet. 2 cups coffee w/sugar and skim, a big chunk of cheddar, who knows what for lunch. Probably leftover fish chowder.

| | The fish chowder "was no more." Beefaroni (ugh) and some couscous.

| | Yogurt for breakfast. Snuck a PB&J in between customers. Going to have pizza for dinner. I'm tired from standing and walking all day.

No pizza, although I wanted some
Tonight was the leftover corned beef and cabbage made into grilled sandwiches with swiss cheese :lick: and pickled beets on the side. Felt like a NY Deli in my eating area.

| | No salad after all - had some BBQ beef on a toasted oat bran pita. It was yummy!
More water, no snack today. LOTS of walking back and forth, back and forth, hauling stuff, reaching and stretching, etc. trying to decorate and set up for that wedding. (Erin did great as the flower girl and even caught the bouquet! ) Did pretty well on eating fairly healthy and definitely in reasonable portions for dinner. We won't discuss the size of the piece of cake I ended up with.

| | Morning: Water, supplements, "short" Optima
Lunch: Went to a Chinese buffet. Ate lots of fruits first, then veggies and chicken on a stick, 3 pieces. Had one scoop of chocolate ice cream with some chopped peanuts on top.

| | last nights dinner was at the chef's table at a restaurant where we are friends with the owner. You sit by the kitchen in an alcove and the chef/owner cooks for you and serves you directly, etc a multi course meal. so last nights calorie overload involved:
lobster and thyme spring rolls
alligator remoulade
scallop and cilantro crepes
fresh clam and potato chowder
spring greens salad with fresh mango jalapeno dressing
chicken wrapped in bacon with a jicama/rhubarb slaw and sauteed mango spinach leafs
cuban pressed pork, extra spicey, with flash fried seasoned beet slices
strawberries caramelized and poured over fresh vanilla bean ice cream
YUM
I think I gained a mazilion pounds eating that last night!
Didn't do much better today - bagel in AM, quesadilla at lunch - lots of carbs! Brief treadmill before lunch. |

| | Breakfast was a slice of ww peanut butter toast that the Bear made for me. Lunch was a slice of leftover pizza. I have BBQ chicken in the oven for dinner. Veggies with it.
3 mile walk with Rexie. He's now sleeping on the couch.

| | About two hours of yard work yesterday, including getting drenched while we tested the sprinkler system and dug up all the sprinklers that had grass trailers pinning them down. That was enough to wear me out!
