| | Thank you!!! Also please make sure I have done my back exercises. I have been going to Physical Therapy for about a month now, to become more mobile. I have a pretty bad case of arthritis in my lower back and hips. My therapist has gotten me off pain meds completely. I walked the Mall today, without pain, and without resting every 10 minutes. That is improvement.

| | Thanks Lynn. I have to be careful about walking too much. The ortho I went to said that all that walking I was doing last year aided in the deterioration of my lower back. That is why I bought the recumband bike. Evidently the key is to exercise without any undo stress on the nerve in the lower back. The one that extends to the legs. I am walking tho, because I love to walk. But not as much. I think I am finally starting to understand this whole situation better, and am trying to find ways to exercise that will not put me in pain!!
In school right now, no a/c. It is supposed to be 92 and humid today.

| | Angie, I know school will be out soon. I love doing water aerobics whenever I have the chance. I'm older, but I don't have any disabilities. Nevertheless, I have seen miraculous transformations in water aerobics buddies with fibromyalgia, serious back trouble, MS, arthritis, bad knees and hips, etc., etc.
One man with an inoperable back problem said his doctor told him he would never be able to walk more than 250 feet. He is retired on disability. Thanks to water aerobics he can now walk two miles on the track. His doctor couldn't believe it.
Another woman, a late-40ish retired teacher with fibromyalgia, was almost bedridden. Her neighbor practically carried her to the pool. She now goes daily and it is the only thing that keeps her going. |

| | The pool is great! Even just walking frontwards and backwards in the water is wonderful. Walking backwards is especially good for your back; it stretches out your lower back, hips and hamstrings. The water should be up to your shoulders, if possible, to get good resistance.

| | Did my 20 on the bike again tonight. I must be getting stronger, the distance reading was 4.0 miles. It has been 3.8 or 3.9.
Only do the back stuff every other night, so that is tomorrow.
I was so friggin hot today, maybe I sweat off a few pounds???
Got my blood report from last Friday, my numbers are great!!! Really great!!!!
