| | Before someone starts a Friday thread with the "F" word, I thought I'd start a fantastic thread.
I'm tired, but yesterday's workout hasn't yet crippled me.
I'm enjoying my coffee.

| | LOL, I actually don't hurt at all today. Thought I would since I added time and machines last night.
I'm really proud of myself...a friend wants to go to SupperThyme tomorrow and I looked up their menu and made my choices based on the points per serving. Some of the things on the menu were easy to pick (5-6 points) and some were even easier to say no to (9 points)...but if I hadn't taken the time to do my research, I would have probably picked different things!

| | I love restaurants that post points (like Applebees). But, I also have the eating out book so try to look them up when not being too lazy or caught off guard.
Started the treadmill last night. Started really slowly so it went well. Still hate "activity" |

You don't HAVE to be sore. You're golden!
I wanted Fat Friday and you just barely beat me to it, Wormie!
Today is an off training day for me. I've been doing 4 days of weight lifting since October. On January 15th I start a new program that will entail some cardio (gah) and a calorie deficit . I'm hoping I've put on some muscle the past few months.

| | What's Supper Thyme? We don't have them.
Is it take out - or do you eat there - or do you cook yourself.... |

| | Did the treadmill and abs this morning. Not as much time on the treadmill as I would have liked because my ankle was bothering me, but I did one and a quarter miles, so it was okay. I think we're going back to weights next week, and even though I've enjoyed racquetball this week and last, I'm kind of looking foward to getting back to the weights. Two weeks off seem to have gotten me out of the rut of being bored. At least let's hope so!

Then you assemble the meal, put it in ziplocs or aluminum trays and take it home. You can either cook it when you get home, or pop it in the freezer for a later time. I've been told that one meal can actually be split into two for smaller families (I'm waiting to see how big they are...with two "men" in my house, we're needing bigger meals!)

| | I'm having problems logging what I eat. I love the selfdietclub.com calorie and nutrition calculator, but when I'm eating esoteric take-out (Vietnamese rice noodles with chicken and shrimp, for example), it's not programmed in the calculator, which takes some figgerin'.

| | I hate that, too, MJ. Sometimes I just do my very best guess with the ingredients and call it good. If I sweat the small stuff I'd quit altogether. Several meals a week that are off a few hundred calories isn't going to make or break your diet in the long run. When you average it out it won't be huge.
