Genetic Risk for Breast Cancer can come from Dad

Dad can pass down hidden breast cancer gene

Quote:
Half of genetic breast cancers are inherited from a woman’s father, not her mother. But unless Dad has female relatives with breast cancer, the faulty gene may have been passed down silently, without causing cancer. (Men can get genetic breast cancer, too, but it’s not common.)
This makes a lot of sense, but if there aren't aunts or grandmother's with a history of cancer, I don't see a lot of new testing being done.

"Dad" and "breast" should not be found in the same sentence together.
