| | What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | Sigh.... I'm losing ground on my hard-fought loss from the last couple of years. Okay, okay, already lost ground, and losing more. I'm not ready to try Alli just yet, but I want to get back on the wagon. Thus, let's log.
Breakfast: Cinnamon cheese toast, wheat bread. Water.

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | Small handful of slivered almonds.
Hey, for those of you wanting to get the healthy nut fats, if you don't like almonds, try the flavored Almond Accents brand. They are thinly sliced, toasted, and have flavors. I kid you not, they're just like potato chips! Only a lot, lot smaller, LOL. I do not like almonds in general, (seriously, if I've got like an almond kiss or something, I eat the chocolate off the nut and throw it away!) but I LOVE these.

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | I ate at Chik-Fil-A for the first time when we were on holiday. I Chik-Fil-A (but I don't think it would be a good idea for me to eat right now!!!)
Lunch: Salad w/greens, 1/2 egg, 1T cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, 2T caesar dressing and some other zero point, zero fat veggies.
Snack: Handful of dried apples and strawberries.

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | Yeah, aren't they *delicious*?! Of course I prefer the standard sandwich, but it's fried, so I was good and got the grilled.
When the kids were younger, I also preferred CFA because they don't give stupid, dinky toys - they give books, stories on tape/CD, science experiment tools, all kinds of things that are good for kids, but aren't boring to the kids.

If I ate Chik-fil-a with waffle fries and 1/3 shake for lunch, cinnamon cheese toast for breakfast and whoppers plus regular food for diner those 2000++ calories would go RIGHT to my hips. and belly. and butt. and thighs. Where on earth do I get your metabolism, seriously??? lucky, lucky girl! Jealous!!! |

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | Dinner - not so good of a choice, but I'm trying to clean out the fridge. Leftover taco meat - at least it was made of turkey and not beef. I didn't feel so hot when I finished it however.

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | Um.
I'm not quite sure what the point of that is.
At any rate, I come up with less than 1400 calories for the whole day. *Maybe* as much as 1500.
And you have no idea what an incredibly good day that is for me.

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | I can't log with y'all. Learned that lesson the hard way, in college. Once I started looking up the actual serving sizes (which are ridiculously small, we discovered in my nutrition class) and recording them? I stopped eating. That was the first point I got out of control with the dieting. I got an A+ on my food log, but had reduced my caloric intake to 1400 calories a WEEK by the end of the project.
I'm applauding on the sidelines though. I'm fat right now, but I know exactly WHY I'm fat and I'm trying to figure out a way to lose eight without it getting all sorts of crazy for me. I'm good at being super-skinny, and I'm good at being fat, but I'm not so good at being normal. |

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | Yep, I'd say it was 1400 or so cals. You even had 14 grams of fiber.
And unless you are weighing your meat it could have even been less cals than that. I'd be surprised if you actually ate 4 oz. of pork ribs because that looks like a lot of meat on a plate.
Last night I weighed my hamburger patty instead of just estimating it was 4 oz. Come to find out it was only 2.6 oz. So I ate more.

| | Re What did the EA frog say? Logit.... logit... | | One of the things I find helpful about logging is to look back and see how I could have improved on a choice I made. For example, instead of eating all that plain meat for dinner last night, I could have had a spoonful on a bun, added some lettuce and tomato, and been just as full on less points, fat and calories. And probably not felt like I was going to yak.
So, I'll get today started (should we just continue in this thread? I'd rather do that than start a new one every day).
Breakfast: 1/2 egg salad sandwich, diet Dew, water
