Turkey Pepperoni

Someone mentioned it a while ago, and I finally found some last night at Wal-Mart. It's Hormel brand, and was right by the regular pepperoni. It's almost twice the price of the regular stuff, but has 70% less fat and about half the calories of the regular stuff. It tastes great too, but is a little bit spicier.

Re Turkey Pepperoni

As long as it doesn't taste like shiz a person doesn't mind paying more for it.

Re Turkey Pepperoni

Shop around. I pay the same price for Turkey Pepperoni that the local grocer charges for the regular stuff. OTOH, maybe Walmart is just cheaper for the regular because they sell so much more.

Also, my local grocery store occasionally has BOGO specials and I stock up, because it has a pretty long shelf life.

Re Turkey Pepperoni

The turkey stuff was about $3.50. Per ounce, it was 50-some cents compared to the 30-some cents for the non-turkey. It's not that it's really all that expensive, just more so than the non-turkey.
