| | A Fitness Program I Think I Could Get Addicted To | | Just saw it on the "Ellen Show." It's called Cardioke, a combination of dance/exercise and karaoke.
So far it's only in LA, but the DVD comes out in a few months, and I'm buying.
It might even challenge water aerobics as my favorite exercise. HOMEPG |

| | Re A Fitness Program I Think I Could Get Addicted To | | Huh. Here I've been taught that if you can sing during a workout, you're not working out hard enough. (Moderate level of aerobic activity is usually gauged as that pace where you can talk, but can't sing.)

| | Re A Fitness Program I Think I Could Get Addicted To | | Exercise theory is changing for the better, considering a longer, less strenuous workout a better than a workout where you can't breathe. |

| | Re A Fitness Program I Think I Could Get Addicted To | | As you get more fit and able to sing, you need to work out harder to get your pulse and breathing up to an aerobic level, or the pace at which you were "moderately" exercising before becomes "barely" exercising for you, for aerobic purposes. Otherwise we'd all just stick to strolling at 1.3MPH and call it "exercise." IOW, even if you speed up over time, if you can sing you're working out below your optimum rate according to most of the aerobic exercise theory I've read. But I'm sure someone's read something that says otherwise and will post it here.
