So I've been hearing about super foods like BGA and Acai. I found an Acai supplement no problem (that juice was just nasty), but have only been able to find one BGA supplement locally. It has three ingredients, so I looked them all up, and can't figure out if I should try the supplement or not - mixed reports.
The ingredients in this one are Spirulina (Spirulena platensis), Watercress (Nasturtium officinale), Kalmath Blue Green algae (Aphanizomenon flos-aqua)
It doesn't say if it cultivated or harvested, which I hear makes a difference.
Has anyone has experience with this? What were your results?
I take a supplement made only from the Klamath Lake algae (A. flos-aqua). That one is harvested under very controlled conditions. The company I buy from makes supplements for people, for animals and also fertilizer, and I love all of the products. #2 cut down on ear infections and asthma trips to the ER after I started giving it to the kids.
