| | The women and men forums vs the public groups. | | Is there a place to see what other private forums are available?
I remember seeing a list (was it under the old user control panel??) of groups such as kids only, men only, women only ...
I can see the women only forum in the forums list, but that is because I am a member (I assume).

| | Re The women and men forums vs the public groups. | | Actually, I am trying to NOT make a list of the hideaways available. I think people should be able to promote them as they choose.
Plus, this is a testing feature that may or may not stay here. I don't see the point in getting people too hooked on my development code if it isn't suitable for EA.

you are in the women's so you can see it, and you can't join mens or kids so you can't see them. |

| | Re The women and men forums vs the public groups. | | The mens and women's groups are no longer public groups. They are secondary groups that members are placed in based on the value of the gender field at registration.
This selection can't be changed. So, y'all are stuck being female.

| | Re The women and men forums vs the public groups. | | But I used to be able to see the available list including Men's and Kids'. I even asked George if I could join - but that was back when the requests were not sending PMs so he never answered ... but the point being ... I used to be able to see the list and I used to be able to see to which other forums other members belonged. (I'm trying not to dangle my participle).

Too bad. That might just get you into the men's forum.
