Today we went to a little 'autumn festival' run by one of the local nursery schools as a fund raiser. Pony rides, photo ops with Clifford the Big Red Dog and a variety of fun activities (the 'fun house' -- a tunnel constructed of several refrigerator boxes -- was a big hit, though the larger 'haunted house' version was too scary for him).
The Poopster had a grand old time and particularly enjoyed riding the 'cows' (and wasn't the least bit afraid of them). One of these days, we're finally going to get him to say 'horse'.
Have I mentioned recently that the Poopster is an unbearably adorable child?

How fun! I've got pictures of Shane on the pony that his grandfather kept for the grandkids, from before he could walk. He loved horses too.
