No Trick or Treating for you! | | I feel so bad! Zachary caught a bug and his fever spiked to 105 two nights ago. Yesterday his temperature hovered around 103, coming down with alternating doses of tylenol and motrin. This morning, he woke up with 101, which means that it is going to spike in the early afternoon again (as seems to be the pattern.)
He has to miss his school party. I am the homeroom mom and have been preparing things for the kids all week, and now he cant even be at the party. And worse, he cant go trick or treating tonight. (The temperatures are freezing out there! What happened to fall?)
I told him that if he gets better for the weekend, we can go to the Fright Fest at Six Flags. He is obviously, very upset that he has to miss Halloween. Anyone have any ideas to help make him feel better about it? I know he can still wear his costume and help hand out candy (if he is up to it - seems by early evenings he doesnt want to move off the couch.) Of course, that almost seems mean, considering he cant go out.
But if I can come up with something really fun to do, he might not miss trick or treating so much.
