2006 Summer Reading program at Barnes & Noble (FREE BOOKS!)

Yippee, the info for the 2006 summer reading program at Barnes and Noble is up! Read 8 books, get a FREE book! They can do it twice during the summer. 1st - 6th grades.

http://www.barnesandnobleinc.com/our...g_Program.html

They can be ANY books - library, home, borrowed from friends, etc. My kids love this - they do the library's summer program every year, so this gets them double the pleasure.

Wow. I gotta read the details, but the youngest rips through a book a day in summer. I think it takes 2 days during the school year.

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

I need to read the details, too, when I get a chance. We do the library's program, and last year the prizes were gift certificates to local restaurants and new books.

This sounds terrific! Jer is counting down the days until he can sign up for the summer reading program at the library (this is the kid who wouldn't read three years ago!) so this will be a great dual program for him!!!

Yay! Eight books should take Beanie about, um... three days.

Bummer. Then again, they'd lose MAD money if they let me in.

Re 2006 Summer Reading program at Barnes & Noble (FREE BOOKS!)

I long for the days I could spend the time and read the books I wanted to.

Is there an adult reading program? I don't need free books, I just need someone to give me the time.

You could probably find some in one of Eris's alternate universes.
