| | I would have preferred the locusts | | Bug had strep.
Gave it to Buster.
Both boys finished pink stuff.
Bug starts running a temp. Turns out Bug has strep AGAIN and an ear infection. More pink stuff.
Go out yesterday morning to get Beanie's new glasses. Head to Target. Have to go home. Suddenly ill. Go home and Then Tattoo starts ing. AGAIN. We just did this a couple of weeks ago.
Did I mention G is gone until 9:30 PM tomorrow at his yearly nerdfest?
Cindy, I have no idea how you do it. None. I'm about ready to call the men in the white coats and my house looks like a tornado went through it. I'm trying to find the floor in the living room, but I think it might have vanished. |

For one thing, I don't think Cindy's 4 are any where nearly as close in age.
Cheer up, you could have 5 this close together. I know someone who's oldest is Oct - Dec younger than Erin, with 4 more girls behind that.
I hope you all get better REAL soon. And I'm glad G isn't going to be gone much longer!

| | Re I would have preferred the locusts | | Pippa, I wish I were there! I would help you!
I will always help as I had a friend whisk my healthy kids away when I was barfing up a storm.
I know how hard it is to be a Mommy and be sick. Our hearts are already broken for our poor sick kids.

| | Re I would have preferred the locusts | | I'm sorry, Pippa!!! This year has been horribly bad for us, too. I've taken so many sick days (good thing I had time saved up), but I was lucky to have not gotten totally ill myself (just tired, you know). Hang in there! Hope everyone gets well soon--for good.
:hugs:

| | Re I would have preferred the locusts | | Oy. So far, so good. No one else has gotten sick, and G is coming home tonight.
Last "major" thing I have to do is this morning. Get two kids to dance class (Beanie is 9 to 10 and Buster is 9:45 to 10:30). Videotape both of Beanie's dances and Buster's one. Get Buster out early so we can get Bug to music class by 10:30. In the city, of course.
I think I'm drinking tonight. |

| | Re I would have preferred the locusts | | OMG- Pippa, I don't know how *you* do it! I get tired just seeing your schedule.
And what melanie said- my kids are fairly far apart in age. I complained because the two youngest were two years apart.
And having said that, there were plenty of times when they were all small when I would turn my room into the Vomitorium. Sheets double-covering the bed, plastic sheets on the floor, buckets, washrags, Kleenex for me when I would cry - and even that passed eventually.
there are times when it is so overwhelming when they're little. And then they become teens wearing black jeans and rolling their eyes or joining the Army and you will wish they were little and barfing all over your house agin. |

| | Re I would have preferred the locusts | | LOL. The farthest apart any two are is two years. Beanie was 5 when I had Tattoo.
I made it! w00t! I'm truly ashamed of how many times we've eaten fast food this week, but I got everyone to their classes. We were only a little late to music, and I remembered to videotape all the kids' dances so they can practice at home.
The only flaw in my plan was that I didn't realize it was PhD graduation at the Eastmant today. It let out AT THE SAME TIME AS OUR CLASS!!! I had Beanie grab onto the boys' jacket hoods to keep track of them in the crowd. | | |
