I'm feeling old now! Who else knows what oleomargarine is, or a Victrola for that matter. How about the black phone made of Bakelite WITHOUT a dial, but with a party line? (And I don't mean the Communist Manifesto here.)

I know what a party line is, but never was actually around any non-dial phones myself. We did have a party line when I lived out in the boondocks around the age of 8.
Never watched Rikki Tikki Tavi at school, but I vividly remember watching it every year at home when it came on TV. I loved that movie!

We have Rikki-Tikki in our literature book so my students watch the video (the Disney one). I have a record player...remember oleo-margarine....and had a party line for most of my early life because it was cheaper than a private line. Don't remember a phone with no dialer though. |

This guy didn't even have a board, he had a wand thing that attached to any blank wall with suction cups and wirelessly transmits to the laptop. Projection, writing notes, all that on the blank wall. Amazing. People were audibly drooling.

the science department in my school has those. actually i think they only have like 2 so the teachers tend to fight over them. you start to dread seeing them after a while bcause it normally meant you had a very long class full of notes ahead of you.
