Re Want Your Kids to do More on the computer

Do the boys have their own computer? Problem solved.

Sean has his own computer out sheer preservation of my sanity. He can change all the settings he wants, try whatever emulators and goofy programs he wants without messing me up.

I wonder if Bill Gates drove his mother crazy with stuff in their house? (I know it wouldn't have been computers, but other stuff.) I can always hold out hope.....

Re Want Your Kids to do More on the computer

They share one, and it's the one #1 uses for university. I am seriously starting to think about a second one, though. Last week, the two little guys found a crossword puzzle site. Before you know it, a program installed itself, began deleting things, downloaded another program and when I tried to update adaware, it actually redirected me to yet another spyware program to download! I was a mess by the time I finally got rid of everything. Including the toolbars which kept adding themselves to the screen until we had only a usable screen space of about 4" x 6". Grumble.

If you swing through here this summer, I'll be happy to give you one. Or three.
