Instead of bothering with a booster seat, why not just boost the whole chair?
Very cool! I would have loved to have had one of these when the kids were little!

Or many of the harness systems that are used with the kid "leash" things can also be used as chair harnesses, too.

That is a clever idea. Lets the kid feel like more of the family and you don't have the arguments about the kid being "too big" for the booster.
