School drama

Can I brag?

We had our drama program at the school last week. It's always an exhausting week getting ready for it because we have to build costumes, sets, and direct 80 kids. The art teacher is absolutely tremendous and she's there with Rick and I every day after school (usually until late at night) helping make things. This year we had a parent who helped with child wrangling and another who did the program.

We did six shows with everyone from grade 1 to 6:
  • Peddler Polly and the Story Stealer
  • When the Twins Went to War
  • More than a Match
  • The Great War on Mars
  • Misaki and the Four Truths
  • A Midsummer Night's Day Dream (Scenes from the Shakespeare of a smiliar name)
I was very, very proud of all the kids who did an incredible job. THey made a lot of progress between this year and last. But I was especially proud of my son. I'll just post pictures of him since I don't have permission from the parents of the other children to post their pictures.

Re School drama

Congratulations to you and Redlord for bringing the Arts to your son's school.

And he looks just adorable.
