| | I see those teenage bottomless pit years sneaking up on me.... | | Somebody must be having a growth spurt. Today for lunch, the almost-12-year-old boy ate:
A turkey pot pie
A chicken and cheese sandwich on wheat
A ham and cheese Lunchables (the small kind)
A whole plum
I shudder to think what the next few years will bring!

| | Re I see those teenage bottomless pit years sneaking up on me.... | | You have NO idea. I have one who could out-eat that when he was 3. He just turned 12. Half a pizza for lunch today.
Half a large pizza. With everything. Fortunately I wasn't paying.
Oh and my #1 child could (and did) eat half a large pizza when he was 3.

| | Re I see those teenage bottomless pit years sneaking up on me.... | | Yeah, I was going to chime in that Jeremy can easily demolish a 10 oz steak, baked potato, veggies, bread and a couple of glasses of milk for dinner.
The have a 1/2 dozen hot dogs for a snack a couple of hours later.
You're in biiiiig trouble, Missy.

| | Re I see those teenage bottomless pit years sneaking up on me.... | | I have two teenage sons right now. My oldest doesn't want real food just junk food 24/7. And lots of it. It is worse than having a toddler--you have to eat dinner or it is no snacks for you, buddy!
It gets really insane when they have friends over. Oy!

| | Re I see those teenage bottomless pit years sneaking up on me.... | | Buster could have eaten that with his hands tied behind his back. While I was trying to fill water bottles and find soccer stuff, he ate a BAG OF CHIPS. At least they were Terra Chips so he ate some sweet potatos and beets that were salted and fried.
And that was AFTER two HUGE refried bean burritos (full size torillas). |

| | Re I see those teenage bottomless pit years sneaking up on me.... | | My sister had 3 teen age boys at the same time. The day old bakery was her friend.
But I'm beginning to wonder what my husband is doing. We bought a 5 pound tub of cottage cheese on Thursday, left town Friday morning and last night there is only about 2 cups left! I've had exactly 1 1/2 cups and the kids don't eat it!?!

| | Re I see those teenage bottomless pit years sneaking up on me.... | | I should also add that before Bug turned 2, I had to go to urgent care because they thought he broke my jaw kicking me. Was just a REALLY bad bruise, but yeah, I could see that child punching through a wall. |
