He's 12!

Only one year away from official teenage-dom.
My silly, wonderful boy told me he wanted a "plain vanilla cake with plain white icing, 12 candles, and an apple" for his birthday. Yes, an apple. Whole, sliced, didn't matter. That's all he wanted.
Since I bought him an MP3 player as his gift, I went one better on the cake and made the cake an iPod. With an apple.
With some of his birthday money this year, he bought games for the GBA he found a while back. (Don't worry, not wanted - folks moved, tossed a perfectly good GBA.) Harry Potter, arcade games, etc.
The MP3 player is a big hit. So what does a geeky 12 year old boy put on his brand-new player?
Why, Beethoven, Mary Poppins and the game music from Linux's "Super Tux" game, of course!
Man, I love that kid!
