Holiday Season.

Hello parents and aunt/uncles/grandparents....

I am needing help finding good items for a 4 1/2 year old for the holidays this year.

Grandma wants something eye popping for her granddaughter, but I have no clue. Heck, I don't even know what to buy the girl.

Any and all tips, suggestions, pointers, appreciated.

Thanks!

Re Holiday Season.

High School Musical dance mat (like Dance Dance Revolution, I'd have to think)

What I was actually looking for was this indoor playhouse thing I got for Meggie and Nikki last year - it was like that parachute material and you could fold it up and put it away easily. Jeremy had one when he was about that age (his was like two huge blocks with holes in them that you could crawl through) that he played with for a long long time.

Target.com has a fabulous search engine for toys tho...just go to the toy section, click on the age you are looking for, and you'll get all kinds of ideas. The HS Musical thing just popped up for me.

Re Holiday Season.

Great idea...thank you.

It's a hard age to buy for, isn't it?

They have this little bicycle that hooks up the tv and you play videos games but have to peddle faster to get around things.

That looks intriguing. But, I don't know about it.

Re Holiday Season.

How about a kitchen set. My daughter loved it at this age.
They have all kinds made of all kinds of materials....and grandparents can assemble them

Hers looked something like this one.

As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

That one is cool. The grandparents actually got something like this for the babester when she was 3, if memory serves.

We have had some tremendous "home cooked" meals.
