It's actually her Halloween costume turned into a angel outfit. I was struggling for an inexpensive holiday card idea, and came up with this & it turned out pretty well.
She loves to wear her little halo around everywhere, but the outfit, she says she could do w/out!

She was pushed off a playground toy on 11/12 by a little boy. She feel off the top of one of those plastic play "houses" that has a floor in the middle and little holes to crawl up along the side (and a slide on one side).
She was climbing the holes along the edge, he apparently pushed her bottom up and over and she landed with most of the weight/force on one elbow. Dr. believed she had a slight or hairline fracture & put her in a cast for just over 3 weeks.
She hasn't been able to do anything but "play chess" as the dr. told her. No running, jumping, playground or karate. She's been pretty bummed out. Now, the cast is off, and definitely she has a bit of atrophy so moving her arm the full range of motion, getting the muscles stretched back out, etc, is the goal. Dr. states she still cannot do much until after the New Year. So, still no karate, playground, etc.

I am thinking, now, that I am glad that I took these pictures in early November. That would have been a rough time getting a cast out of the photo for the holiday cards!
