| | but, I am wondering about holiday photos.
Last year, I think most of you saw what I did for the babester. I used her halloween costume (a ghost) and I put her in this, created a halo and had some fun little snowflakes around her for an angelic holiday greeting.
I need something new for this year....but, something inexpesive that I can do at home.
Any thoughts?

| | She's so darned cute you don't need anything fancy.
You can just dress her up in Red and plop her by a tree. |

| | Or, dress her in a pretty white girly dress, make tiny snowflakes and flock them and do them up in her hair. |

| | A coworker of mine has this ceramic donkey in her yard. Actually, maybe it's cast iron. All I know is she hates it, and it was left there by a previous owner, but she's not strong enough to get rid of it.
A couple years ago, she dressed her son up in white and brown cloth (sheets?) and put her daughter in blue and white and holding a baby doll, sitting on the donkey. It was the best Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus picture I ever received on a card!
If you want a more ecumenical photo, the same coworker had her children pose in letter shapes. The card was a four-folder, and she had the kids spelling out J-O-Y, one letter per flap, and the last flap said "to the world!" and had the family's names.
Just some thoughts! I'm sure whatever you do will be cute! |

You could dress her in red and green shirt and leggings and have her pose in all three letter shapes. It would be so cute.

| | I'm trying to think of a good picture to take of my dog for Xmas. I probably will give up before I do it, however, and ya'll will get store-bought cards. I'm just not that creative! |

| | We took the cats to the photo studio at the mall one year. The photographer discovered that the projected backgrounds don't work with pet pictures - their eyes glowed really weird colors - so we had to have a plain white background.
I got an adorable card one year, the couple put antlers on the dog and just snapped a picture - simple and effective.

Ditto this one . . .but with different outfit/clothing in each 'letter' picture...

| | I asked the babester and she wants to actually find a brown sweat suit and some of those little "antlers".
She has a build a bear rudolph the red noses reindeer and she wants to make a reindeer picture this year. She had a couple of great ideas. Now, I just have to find a way to make it happen!
Thanks again for all of the help. But, in this, we let the babester choose it (as I know it will be for better pictures.)
