Talking 12-12-06 Day 2 SantaWorm Game Thread!

It was time for SantaWorm, don’t ya know, and I slithered through the gun show
Tryin’ to find a gift for Slick, I thought a Red Ryder would do the trick
Standing right in front of me were two cuddly-wuddly schmoopy kitties
Looking annoyed as cats often do
Dragging a box with a high voltage sticker in view

Pixie rubbed the corner of the box while Stranger took a nap
And when it came their time to pay
They played me for a sap

Worm, we want to buy this taser for our momma, please
It’s company party time and the drunks are everywhere
Give us $50, Worm, ‘cause cats don’t do labor
You know she’s been pissed for a long, long, long, long, looooonnnng while
And we know this taser will make her smile
And we want her to be dangerous when Momma goes to work tonight.

Let's hope they don't start acting like real cats and leave the "present" in the bed for me to find...

Re 12-12-06 Day 2 SantaWorm Game Thread!

Okay, I'll start us off for the day:

Quote:
Grammatical glitches give you terrors
So here’s a gift to combat errors

Thousands of words and definitions
Provide resources beyond most academicians.

And if the batteries die down
A low-tech back-up is also around

22 volumes and 300K words
That’s a mouthful (and then some) of nouns and adverbs.

So here's your second Christmas present
I hope it makes your day more pleasant.

Santa knows that my eyes are getting too old for my prized compact edition of the OED.

Santa Rocks!

And I got some music -- including one from my home state I don't know, but I'll be checking out.

Today's gift made me laugh. I love it!

Don't forget: Whether you're learning or an experienced old hand at riding a bike, always wear your helmet!

And finally, if all this safety equipment fails, here's a nice home remedy to fix those boo-boos:

On the second day of our gift giving,
Your secret santa is giving to you,
A nice comfy, warm sweater and scarf
To help you stay warm in this unusually cold weather.

Thank you, Santa! Do I get the body that fits the sweater, too?

Okay, the kitchen yesterday was great, but my secret Santa knows how I like to play.

Quote:
Camping is good, luxury camping is better. Fine Living had this to say about the Tentalows on Molokai Ranch in Hawaii:

Quote:
Camp on an exclusive private beach with upscale accommodations such as comfy beds, ceiling fans, solar-powered lights, private open-air bathrooms and solar hot-water showers, plus big decks with lounge chairs, personal hammocks for two, and picnic tables. There's even daily maid service!

If John says it's not camping...find a new guy.
We've camped John's way. I like this idea much better. Thanks, Santa!

So with cooperation from a Wormie Elf:

We all have a "honey-do" list
That's sure to get us all a-pissed
When hubby ignores
Those husbandly chores
No matter how much we insist

So here's a gift special for you
So Honey need not "honey do"
No need for surprise
Pick out your supplies
The work will be done by Andrew
Andrew is TOTALLY HOT. Thanks, Santa!

note to self: SS knows I do chores and Hubby doesn't. Again, not narrowing things down enough...

Okay, I'm at a loss. My Santa's going to have to explain this one to me. Or anybody else can, too! However, I do actually like the gifts!

Quote:
Here are some gifts to help you along in your "new business":

Rocky Women's Blizzard Stalker Boots - for stealth movement throught the snow.

Some music to get you in the mood.

Gilera's Stalker for fast transportation when it counts.

Some casual clothes for the off duty social moments

Some clothes for, um, "work"
