Sorry for the vagueness. Frank Peretti is the author of many books and my mystery book has a badly-placed review of one of his books under its title in the Epinions' database.
Is it fiction? No.
Is it written by a man? Yes, two men actually
Is it written last century? Yes

Grouch, I haven't seen any indication from reviews of it that it was, but I'm not spending money to find out for sure. If it helps, it is now out of stock or print on Amazon and only a few used copies are sold there.

Actually, I meant 'arts' in a broader sense, as in both fine and performing arts. Was he, in other words, a dancer, singer, actor, writer, painter, composer...any of those things?

He wrote about 20 books from the late 60s on, I believe, but isn't most infamous for his writing. Not a dancer, composer or singer.

Soxfan, if you mean economics per se, it would not be classified there.
Very good question, Peter! I just looked him up on Amazon and he's coauthored a couple more since the one in question and just last year came out with his own. His name says it all, some people would say.
