There is a weekly show on National Geographic television station that is partnered with the NY Times to bring Science Times.
Next Tuesday the show is entitled, Outwitting Autism.
The National Geograhic website has a reminder to set up for notice one day ahead of the show you request.

Last month or so was an ABC bit on world news tonight, the parents magazine had an article I am still waiting on my local library to get me a copy and when I called up parents magazine to find out how to get a copy they informed me that the November issue will have a story about raising autistic children
A few weeks ago the cover story in TIME was on bipolar kids.
