how do you figure out what a cd is worth...

... if you can't find it for sale anywhere?

I am putting some old cds up for sale and I came across one that is conspicuous for its absence on any site that sells used cds. They all say the puppy is "out of stock."

Suggestions for figuring out what price to ask?

Julie

Half.com will suggest a price.

You can search ebay for past completed sales, and see what it went for.

Unfortunately, this only works if you have something that has logical pricing. Half's prices are based on percentages of "the lowest retail price online."

Since I'm dealing with a product with no extant retail price that I've been able to find, and since I've sold books for MUCH higher than Half's suggested price in the past, I'm not too eager to trust them on this one.

I don't know how to do that. Pointers?

Never mind. Found it.

No listings for this cd still, at least that I can see. Ack!

Did you try www.froogle.google.com to see if it is listed any place?

Or mysimon or dealtime?

Ah, thanks, Margaret. Found a listing for $23.50 through Froogle.

I appreciate your help!
