She and Scholastic are suing the NY Daily News for printing unauthorized excerpts from the book.
"The suit was filed in federal court in Manhattan Wednesday and seeks damages in the tens of millions of dollars, according to a Scholastic press release." The only bits that were okay to publish are the two brief quotes that have been out for months, one from the first few sentences of the book, and one from later. Everything else was supposed to be kept under wraps.
