"Why Harry Rules" - Time cover story this week

Time's cover story this week, in anticipation of Saturday's release.

http://www.time.com/time/covers/1101030623/story.html

WARNING: this story made me cry! You'll see why when you reach page 4. From what all I've read, Ms. Rowling is incredibly sweet, and this one just took the cake.

Of course, then she would have to turn around and spoil this good image:

http://money.cnn.com/2003/06/18/news...ex.htm?cnn=yes

She and Scholastic are suing the NY Daily News for printing unauthorized excerpts from the book. "The suit was filed in federal court in Manhattan Wednesday and seeks damages in the tens of millions of dollars, according to a Scholastic press release." The only bits that were okay to publish are the two brief quotes that have been out for months, one from the first few sentences of the book, and one from later. Everything else was supposed to be kept under wraps.

I love the Maurice Sendak quote on page 2. And the Bloom quote simply confirms the way I've felt about him for a long time.

And I'm all teary eyed now too.
