I saw the commercial for this show last night, and the whole concept just struck me as tasteless. To me, it plays on a stereotype and also invites issues along the lines of the Jenny Jones show where a man found out a gay friend had a crush on him.
Very tasteless! I dont think your overly sensitive. I think a lot of reality tv has gone over the top. The only show I like is Survivor. I'm offended by the commercials I see for a "love connection" where the guy thinks he's forming a relationship and the women are in it for the money. The whole gay/straight thing here is just sensationalism. I'll stick to watching Trading Spaces for style.
Ick, ick, ick. Even for reality TV this is pretty tasteless. And the straight guy must have no conscience at all (unless he develops one during the show, which I kinda doubt).
