| | His codpiece made of metal | | Rowan Atkinson to be in a Harry Potter movie? I saw the possibility mentioned at imdb.com and Google provides a few hits. Just a rumor so far... |

| | Re: His codpiece made of metal | | Oh, no.
No.
Atkinson as Voldemort?
Why not just go back and redo Silence of the Lambs with Robin Williams as Hannibal Lecter?
Good God, no.

| | Re: His codpiece made of metal | | So I heard! At first, I was like...
But then... Hmmmmm. I dunno, it might work. Most people know him for his Mr. Bean silliness, but he's done excellent sneery villain-ish roles before, too. I've always preferred his work in the BlackAdder series with its darker, more cutting humor. I think he's got the potential.
And it brings up an interesting question...who would make a good You-Know-Who?

| | Re: His codpiece made of metal | | Hmm, maybe Atkinson could handle it (I haven't seen enough to judge one way or the other). The first name who came to mind, though, was Jeremy Irons. |

| | Re: His codpiece made of metal | | Atkinson is nobody else but Bean to me. Seriously. The dude is nutso. Plus, with his googely eyes I don't think I could concentrate on anything else...
Gack. Interesting, strange, and absolutely bizarre choice in casting.

| | Re: His codpiece made of metal | | I could see Rowan Atkinson pulling it off, but Ralph Fiennes would be absolutely chilling. I think I'd prefer the latter.
