Survivor All-Stars

So - what did you think?

Whining, complaining, bad attitudes, politics - all started early.

Jenna #1 (who I really liked) made some stupid mistakes!!!!
Rob and Amber???
Richard Hatch gained the weight back and should keep his pants on.
Susan is an idiot.
I felt so so badly when Ruperts team lost immunity - gotta love Rupert.
Should be interesting.

Re: Survivor All-Stars

I missed it. But I'd like to catch it next time around. What day is it going to be on "regularly"?

I was flipping around the channels during the post game stuff and we got sucked into watching Queer Eye. First time I've seen it and I thought it was hilarious. Handed hubby the remote thinking he'd flip it to something else immediately, but he was amused by it too. Those guys are a scream!

Re: Survivor All-Stars

We flipped between the game and Queer Eye as well. Love Queer Eye!
Survivor will be repeated on Tuesday night, and then will regularly be on Thursday. I'll have to program the VCR to tape it since Thurs is now pottery night.
Honestly - I'm not sure if this will be a great season or not. They all bring so much baggage with them. They usually don't get so catty in the first episode. Lots of alliance talk already.

Re: Survivor All-Stars

They are replaying last nights on Tuesday and a new one will be on Thurs at 8. (then CSI )

I never liked either of the Jenna's. Do believe she shouldn't have been so open about her beliefs.

Hope Rudy and Rupert don't get screwed by their honesty again.

Richard is even more annoying than I remember. If you can make fire, do it!

Richard will be the first one off his team.
I'm waiting to see if Susan goes into a coma from the bacteria in the water. She'll be the first off her team.

LALALALALALA

Haven't seen it yet. Considering I had to wake up at 5:15am this morning and that the show started well after 10pm on the east coast I had to record it.

Must. See. Survivor. Tonight.

Re: Survivor All-Stars

Personally, I don't think (and didn't think) Richard should have been back. Did either of the other winners come back?

He's already got his cash and had his 15 minutes. Vote him off the Island!!!!

Yes - there are several winners there - Richard, Swim-suit Jenna, Tina, and Ethan.

Re: Survivor All-Stars

I also felt that none of the winners should have come back. However, I understand the thinking behind it- if it's "All Stars", you want to see who would have won out of the best.

I'm just happy about several of the people who did come back: Rob C and Rupert in particular. Wish that my honey, Andrew Savage, came back too. I wanted him to win last time.

edit- 'cause I can't think this early in the morning.

Re: Survivor All-Stars

Brian is the only winner who wasn't there. Saw him on the news last night, and he hinted that he had wanted more money to do it again and CBS said no.

Really? I thought several winners weren't there.
Porn star - and the Marquesas. And the most recent winner, Sandra.
I think several winners are missing.

Re: Survivor All-Stars

Ah. I didn't know about Sandra or Marquesas. I didn't get to watch those two seasons. I do have one thought though. 16 people knew they would be out in the wilderness and have to start a fire. NONE of those people thought to practice at home or research it and find an efficient way to do it before they left for Panama?

Re: Survivor All-Stars

I know that in the past they used a magnifying glass to start a fire. Couldn't you use the lense of someones eye-glasses? I'm not sure if that works. And Richard is really a dick for not helping with the fire.

Re: Survivor All-Stars

I didn't see anybody wearing glasses. That was the first thing that I thought of. But, there's gotta be a way to do it with just sticks and stuff. What these people really need is somebody like the professor from Gilligan's Island.
