Word/character association: heroes/heroines

I know a good idea when I see one, so I'm going to steal Redlass's word association games in books and adapt them to film/TV. First one: name the first ten names that come to mind when thinking of heroes and heroines. I'll post mine below to avoid influencing anyone else.

They can come from TV, too (there's a lot of crossover in my list). And I cheated and did just the one list.

Re: Word/character association: heroes/heroines

I wasn't sure which you wanted, so I did both.

I had a tough time getting to ten. I should have been thinking superheroes/superheroines. Then the list gets very different! (As it is, it's pretty obvious I'm a science fiction/space opera geek when it comes to movies.)
