Word/Book association - Science Fiction

I thought I'd up the ante and see what folks come up with when asked to compile a list of books instead of authors. Just like the author threads, just post the first ten books that come to mind, love 'em or hate 'em.

Re: Word/Book association - Science Fiction

Eon, Greg Bear
The Proteus Operation, James P. Hogan
The Gods Themselves, Isaac Asimov
The Stars My Destination, Alfred Bester
More than Human, Ted Sturgeon
Dune, Frank Herbert
Ringworld, Larry Niven
Brave New World, Aldous Huxley
War of the Worlds, H.G. Wells
Worlds of Honor, David Weber

Interesting. Definitely had the word association thing going at the end with all those worlds.

2. The Chanur Saga -- C. J. Cherryh
3. On Basilisk Station -- David Weber
4. Counting the Cost -- David Drake
5. Santiago -- Mike Resnick
6. Foreigner -- C. J. Cherryh

Re: Word/Book association - Science Fiction

Oh! Fantastic idea!

1. Fool's War
2. Playing God
3. Kingdom of Cages
4. I, Robot
5. Dune
6. The Man-Kzin wars (er, that was a series title, wasn't it?)
7. Reclamation
8. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress
9. Stranger in a Strange Land
10. Ender's Game

I'll confess, I haven't read all the books on that list. But they popped into my head as being "science fiction" even above ones that I've read. Maybe I should break down and read them...
