Re: word/book association - children's

This is about the only category where I've actually read stuff on a frequent basis and bother remembering title and authors. Let's see if I can remember ten. sigh.

Where the Wild Things Are, Maurice Sendak
Planting a Rainbow, Lois Ehlert
The Napping House, Audrey Wood
The Very Busy Spider, Eric Carle
Where Oh Where's My Underwear, Barney Saltzberg
Grandfather's Journey, a Japanese descendant
The Korean Cinderella, Ruth Heller
Inch By Inch, Leo Lionni
Today I Feel Silly, Jamie Lee Curtis
Monarch Butterfly, Gail Gibbons

Finally. ten. Took me a while. I actually had to picture my books in their approximate positions in the bookcase and imagine their covers. I'm gonna have to go look at that author I missed now.

Edit:

That would be Allen Say. Correction: Ruth Heller did not write "The Korean Cinderella", Shirley Climo did. Although Ruth Heller has done some nice work on grammar stuff like "Many Luscious Lollipops: A Book About Adjectives".

Children's books, not young adult/juvenile novels, right?

2. Green Eggs and Ham
3. Pink and Say
4. Jumanji
5. Piggins and the Royal Wedding
6. Mama, Do You Love Me?
7. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends
8. Lyle, Lyle the Crocodile
9. Clifford the Big Red Dog
10. The Clown of God
