What was the last CD I purchased? Hmmm that sounds rather fatalistic. How about "What was my most recent CD purchase?" Artist and/or title is fine.

I'm guessing that I never heard of her. Probably not. 
Does she sing? Yes she does.
Is she a comedian? Not by trade.
Does she perform solo or with a group? She is billed as a solo act. But she has studio musicians backing her up.

She's pretty new on the scene. This, her debut, album just came out about 3 months ago.
She's absolutely amazing in that she's only 19 years old and has talent and wisdom way beyond her years. She mixes styles with amazing ease. Often with lyrics and music that you wouldn't expect to go together. And, she writes all her own material.
