So yesterday I'm driving home from work. I'm zooming down the turnpike, yacking on the cellular, minding my own business. I pass the brand new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and suddenly, there his is, larger than life, looking right at me from a road side billboard! It's Kenny! And he's coming in concert! And tickets are on sale now. I actually let out of squeel of delight (much to the shagrin of my friend on the other side of the phone). Then I see the show date. June 4th. I'll be at a freaking trade show in Vegas! This is SOOOOO wrong! I've had a rough year. I've been good. I DESERVE to see Kenny!!!  |

Poor Wormie. He'll be in Las Vegas July 30-31...any chance you'll still be there?

No, I'll be in Vegas the first weekend in June!
He's really really good in concert, too!
I want my Kenny fix.
Guess I'll have to go out and get my cds from the car.  |

Drat! Damn! Darn!
Kenny is messing with me. Every date he's somewhere I can see him, I can't see him. Even if I flew to KC to see him.
I "yelled" at my boss today. Told him it wasn't fair that I had to go to Vegas when Kenny is in town. He said he'd buy me three drinks that night - said Shirley Temples are cheap. (he knows I'm not a big drinking). I told him I don't want Shirley Temples - it'll cost him 3 cheap glasses of wine. He said he won't buy cheap wine, so I guess I'll be getting 3 top shelfs that night. Not as good as Kenny, but I'll deal. |
