Return of the King

I'm watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. There's a scene where Elrond and Aragorn have a conversation in Theoden's tent.

It's a lovely scene. Moving, and all that. But all I can think of is "Wow, that's a neat tent."

It's gotta be 30 feet wide, and it looks very comfortable.

Re: Return of the King

That's a case of the art designer doing his/her job too well.

Now I have to watch it to take a better look at the tent.

Re: Return of the King

We were watching the DVD on Monday and we all commented on that too. Our comment was, "It's good to be the king."

Notice that Aragorn's tent is none too shabby either.

Re: Return of the King

But obviously Aragorn's tent didn't have a shower in it.

Re: Return of the King

I'm thinking the only places in the entire land that had showers were Rivendell and Gondor.

Hey, Good ole El has been around the block a long time. You gotta have *some* perqs to keep you going! It *is* a very cool tent, though.
