Jason Mraz

Bought the CD "Waiting for my rocket to come" based on "The Remedy" and now I can't stop listening to it.

What a voice!

Re: Jason Mraz

His voice is so-so but I do enjoy his lyrics and the fact that all of his songs are so, well, infectuous....

Re: Jason Mraz

My 15 year old daughter thinks he is really hot. (The new word for cute.)

She even has him on a screensaver.

Re: Jason Mraz

LOL. I did the same thing, PC. And then somehow, one day when the housekeepers were here (not that I think they did anything but throw it away by mistake), it disappeared.

I think his new one is out now or soon.

Didn't care much for him in an interview I saw, but the boy's talented.

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

Re: Jason Mraz

Heh, yeah I remember posting a review of the CD thinking "Oh man, this is gonna get so many hits" and then seeing that MattBjorke had posted one 8 or 9 months prior. Awwww shit! But it's definitely a lively and intriguing piece of work. (the CD, that is, not my review)

Re: Jason Mraz

We've seen him live three or four times (and will 3 more times this summer - he is opening for DMB in September). I prefer the 3 guys with acoustic to his newer full band, but I agree that it's all good.
