Talking Dodgeball!

Holy crap did I laugh last night. I remember when I first saw the trailers for the movie, I said that if this was the best the movie had to offer, it would be worth it. Well, the trailers showed a lot of funny things, but the movie itself had so much more.

Not only was the movie a terrific spoof, but just trying to keep up with the cameos was fun, too.

Anyone else see it?

Re: Dodgeball!

Not yet. I thought it sounded incredibly stupid, but maybe it's worth it. What would you compare it to, Jeff???

Re: Dodgeball!

Something About Mary or a variety of other Ben Stiller films (and I am not a fan of his in general, although I think he's made a couple of funny movies -- and this is his funniest, compared to say, Envy, which just flopped in theaters and was one of his worst). You must go in there expecting to see a movie that won't require you to think and you can just sit back and laugh your @$$ off.

You also have to be able to appreciate (not like, just appreciate) the weird sports that they show on ESPN-2 late at night or during Superbowl Sunday...
