| | Anyone watching it?
Since it's on right after Desperate Housewives, I've gotten sucked in. Spader, of course, is hilarious. Shatner (of all people) is comic genius. Last night's episode had me rolling on the floor when that lady's eyeball popped out.
Much, much better than it's predecessor The Practice, even at The Practice's high point.

| | Yeah, I’ve been watching it, pretty good so far.
I taped last night’s episode, haven’t watched it. But I had my prosthetic eye pop out once and land in my lap, so I feel that woman‘s pain. |

It's a good episode. I'm sure it (and the entire show, for that matter) arehorribly un-PC on many, many, many counts, but sometimes it feels good to laugh at really, incredibly stupid stuff.

| | I watched it some, but it is not appealing to me as a whole. I think Spader is great, and I think casting William Shatner was genious (and he is really great in the part), but I just don't like the show. I also didn't like Ally McBeal much either, so maybe that says something. I DID like the same firm last year on The Practice, but Rebecca De Mornay is gone, and I don't like most of the new characters. |

| | Not offended at all. Hey, how often do you get to say “I had my prosthetic eye pop out once and land in my lap...”? Gotta use that in a novel one of these years. |

| | I thought the funniest part was when Shatner (Denny Crane) tried to get a mistrial declared by spouting off claptrap. When he was declared in contempt and led off in handcuffs, he called, "I want to be in a cell with Martha...I must have sex with that woman!"
Kind of still like "The Practice" better, though. |

| | I caught an episode a while ago (the one introducing Spader's ex-girlfriend turned stalker). I liked it -- thought Spader's character reminded me of Graham from "Sex, Lies and Videotape", smart, sarcastic and emotionally detached at times. And Shatner was, well, Shatner. |

My god how that man chews scenery! |

| | I love Michael J Fox and am looking forward to tomorrow's show.
Oh yeah, and Shatner's the bomb. Erik and I have been laughing our butts off about him in various other threads.

| | Anyone watch it last night? I was unfortunately drinking during Denny's big courtroom scene and prompty spit water all over myself. I should be glad it wasn't anything sticky! Definitely one of the funnier episodes they've had in a while. |

| | I hate the Tuesday night timeframe. I always miss it because we are finishing up homework or getting ready for bed. Heard it was terrific - Denny shot someone AGAIN?
Maybe I'll be able to catch up on summer re-runs.

| | Seriously... some of the side plots are so-so, but every time William Shatner is on screen, he chews the scenery, the other actors, and possibly the film in the camera. He is so hysterically funny you'll wet your pants. Even if you haven't ever been pregnant. |
