Have you all seen this yet? When I first started watching it, I thought "ick". But, the more I watched it, the more I loved it. I ended up watching parts of it four times and plan to buy it.
I'm not a huge musical fan or a Cole Porter fan, but I really liked the concept and implementation of this movie. And, Ashley Judd did a great job in her role as Linda Porter.

I have been a big fan of Kevin Kline's ever since I saw him leap onto the stage at the New York Shakespeare Festival's production of "Pirates of Penzance."
My husband kind of dragged me along because he wanted to see Linda Ronstadt, who, at least according to the critics, didn't have the vocal chops for the role.
But I brightened when I saw Kevin Kline. He was charismatic and captivating as the Pirate King.
I loved him as Cole Porter, and enjoyed hearing the music sung by Alanis Morisette, Sheryl Crow, and other contemporary singers.
I would definitely watch this movie again.
