Lord Help Me

Brian is watching South Park.
I know that it's supposed to be funny, but it's not my thing.

I do like the "Kyle's Mom's a B!tch" song though.

Re Lord Help Me

They make fun of everybody. If you get past some of the irreverence, there's a lot of clever observations about people, society, the political process, organized religion, etc. One of my favorites is about the kindergarten class president elections. "Flora, what's your vote?" "I can't decide!" And then the recounts, and the attorneys...

Re Lord Help Me

I can't stand South Park.

But when I'm staying at my folks' house, I can't get enough of "Drawn Together." Don't ask me why I can't stand South Park and love the other when "Drawn Together" is arguably far more offensive than the former.

OK, I totally don't get that either.

Re Lord Help Me

I'd say that it's 'cause "Drawn Together" is funny, unlike the other one, but then someone might speak up and point out that I never thought the "Three Stooges" were funny either.

Humor is a strange critter, isn't it?
