| | For fans of Homicide: Life on the Street | | I was a huge fan of the show back in the day. And one day when I was dinking around with Morph, I made an animated .gif file of seven of the main characters. While stumbling around at archive.org, I found it. It’s a bit grainy because of a GIF’s 256-colors limit. |

| | Re For fans of Homicide: Life on the Street | | Awesome. Damn, I loved that show. My favorite episode was where the guy was pushed into the subway and caught. Such a moral dilemma...he was concious and able to give some insight into what happened, but they knew the minute he was freed from the situation he'd die. For some reason that episode in particular has stuck with me...I'd love to get it on DVD. (Last season, I believe.)
Thank Erik...trip down memory lane.

| | Re For fans of Homicide: Life on the Street | | That was actually the next to last season (Vincent D’Onofrio played the dying guy). Hey, if you’re a Netflix member, go for it.
I watched the first episode on a whim and sat there at the end saying Wow several times. TBDSOTV. So many fine actors playing the detectives, great writing and wonderful bad guys like Luther Mahoney. Man, I miss that show.
And I loved how they didn’t always tie up the loose ends. Some cases never got solved. They never made it completely clear whether or not Reed Diamond’s character had accepted a bribe (I had a very plausible theory about that but don’t want to post it here because it’s a spoiler, but PM me if you want to know my theory). |

I didn't remember that he was the guy. Ironic that he's now on L&O, Homocide's distant cousin.

| | Re For fans of Homicide: Life on the Street | | I was dinking around archive.org again today. Okay, maybe not as cool but here's something I wrote a decade ago: The Top Ten Reasons That People Don't Watch H:LOTS
It won't make much sense to those of you who didn't watch the show. |
