Just wait until we HAVE the DVD... and can endlessly replay it... and debate the deleted scenes...

Lynn, I actually snuck the Broadway soundtrack into G's car (gotta love the CD changer LOL) and was AMAZED at the difference. They increased the tempo on almost EVERY song (I'm assuming to speed up the movie), but the Broadway soundtrack now sounds like it's DRAGGING to me.

That said, though, I'm amazed at how much Columbus was able to cut from the show and still make it great.

I got it...I got it...I got it...

Deleted scenes include "Goodbye Love" and an alternate ending and there is a FULL-LENGTH documentary on Jonathan Larson's life and how Rent came to be, including rehearsals for the movie...

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds FABULOUS.....I am going to get tomorrow if I can slide out of work over lunch......

I do love Goodbye Love, didn't realize how much I missed it until I started listening to the original Broadway soundtrack.

I think I'm taking the soundtrip on my extended trip this weekend. Six hours in the car, I'll need RENT and Les Miz to keep me company!!!
